About this course
At the end of the course, learners shall be able to:
- identify, explain and apply the relevant Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
- legislations / Singapore Standards SS573 (Approved Code of Practice 101 formerly)
- applicable to Forklift operation
- identify and explain the various roles of each stakeholder, and their responsibilities
- in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all.
- carry out forklift operator’s pre-operational preparation duty in accordance with WSH
- regulations, SS 573 industrial standard and organisational SOP
- perform inspection of forklift and its major components prior to commencement of
- work
- carry out forklift operations
- reinstate and hand over forklift at the end of duty
