This unit will provide participants with the essential knowledge on product design and innovation methodologies using techniques of digital and additive manufacturing. It will introduce the new product development process from concept to commercialization, product architecture, product family and platforms. Design methodologies like design for excellence (DFX) and design rules to be followed during designing for additive manufacturing will be covered in this module. Innovation methods and idea generation and concept scoring will be taught to the participants.
Course Fee and Absentee Payroll Funding support are available for employers who sponsor employees for all training. You can find a breakdown of all SkillsFuture training subsidies for employers.
If your business meets SME criteria, you are eligible to enjoy up to 90% in Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS) for any SC, PR or LTVP+ employee that you sponsor for training, on top of baseline subsidies.
