Capability Transfer Programme

The Capability Transfer Programme (CTP) supports companies/associations/professional bodies in the transfer of global capabilities from foreign specialists to our local workforce.

Through the CTP, you can acquire deep capabilities and develop cutting-edge expertise in your local workforce to improve business competitiveness.

• Receive funding support to facilitate capability transfer from foreign specialists to your local employees
• Acquire new capabilities to develop your local employees and stay competitive

• Costs incurred for bringing in foreign specialists, local trainees sent overseas for attachments, and local trainers conducting follow-on training after acquiring the new capabilities
• Venue costs for foreign specialists conducting training in Singapore (only applicable for industry-level projects)
• Equipment costs (only applicable for industry-level projects)
• Work pass concessions to facilitate the entry of the foreign specialists (this will be time-limited and renewable if necessary, and are subject to approval on a case-by-case basis)

• To qualify, companies must be locally registered or incorporated, and operating in Singapore.
• Funding support levels will be determined by WSG in consultation with relevant sector agencies, on a co-funding basis, and will vary depending on the project’s impact level and the type of entity.
