Introduction to Career Trial
Career Trial gives you the opportunity to assess a jobseeker’s job fit through a short-term trial before you offer formal employment of at least S$1,500/month for a full-time position, or S$750/month for a part-time position to suitable Singapore Citizens.
How you can benefit
- Assess a potential hire’s compatibility before you offer formal employment
- Training allowance ranging from $7.50 - $15 per hour will be provided by Workforce Singapore (WSG) to the jobseeker directly during the Career Trial
Eligibility criteria
- Your organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore.
- You must provide a customised Career Trial plan for the position you are hiring for.
- The Career Trial duration must be between 16 and 480 hours (3 months) for full time positions or 16 and 240 hours (up to 80 hours per month for 3 months) for part-time positions.
- After completion of the Career Trial, you must consider your Career Trial jobseekers and offer employment to the suitable ones, paying gross salary of at least S$1,500 (for a full-time position or S$750 for a part-time position) or more per month on permanent terms or contract terms that are no less than 1 year.
How to apply
Note: You must be assigned with the “WSG G2B Employer Portal” e-service and the “G2B Employer” role in Corppass in order to apply as a Host Company for Career Trial.
